Corporate Tax Senior Manager or Director, London

Are you an experienced, CTA qualified corporate tax senior manager, ready for the step up to director?

Do you have strong tax technical knowledge, with the ability to communicate sometimes complex tax matters in an easily digestible manner?

Are you familiar with both providing UK corporate tax and international tax advice to large owner managed businesses and/or smaller quoted companies?

This established and growing practice is looking to recruit a high calibre corporate tax specialist with a profile that matches this description.

Working with a wide range of corporate clients spanning a number of different industry sectors, both with domestic and international footprints, you will have the chance to apply your technical skills and demonstrate your commerciality, in a role that can be tailored to someone who is about to enter their first director role, or someone who is already a director but looking for the opportunity to make an impression and build a case to make partner in 24-36 months.

You will be responsible for a client portfolio made up of large UK domestic and international businesses, providing tax compliance and complex bespoke tax advice.

It is anticipated that you will be able to demonstrate strong corporate tax compliance and reporting experience, a familiarity with handling M&A work, including tax efficient structuring and due diligence, reorganisations (including demergers and reconstructions) and ideally a solid knowledge of international tax principles such as TP, double tax treaties and Permanent Establishments.

You will be keen to contribute to the further success of the tax practice and will be willing to get involved in marketing and business development pitches as well as assisting more junior colleagues on occasions too.
