The London office of this sizeable global operation has enjoyed impressive expansion across its UK business and internationally in the previous decade.
The tax department is made up of qualified practitioners with large accountancy firm and in-house tax team backgrounds, as well as cultivated home-grown talent.
The client work you will handle is high quality and will include providing VAT advice on complicated technical issues, both domestic and cross
border.
You will be a capable client-facer, able to build and maintain excellent professional relationships; you will coach and mentor junior colleagues, reviewing VAT compliance and play a role in business development initiatives too.
It is anticipated that suitable candidates will be CTA qualified with VAT experience gained in a Big 4 or mid tier accountancy firm, or potentially from an industry role and looking for a return to consultancy.
Your VAT experience in your career to date will be quite broad and you will be familiar with areas such as real estate, partial exemption and international supplies. Some M&A and/or insolvency experience would be advantageous, as would some customs/international trade experience, but this is not essential.
In return for your efforts and achievements, you can look forward to a competitive basic salary, various package benefits and considerable bonus potential.
