The Hertfordshire office of this ranked firm of Chartered Accountants is made up of 18 tax practitioners who provide tax advice and compliance assistance to wealthy individuals and OMBs across the region.
In a tax compliance-weighted role, you will manage a client portfolio, taking responsibility for the preparation of corporate tax returns, ensuring returns are filed on time, dealing with enquiries and assisting fellow staff and the senior management team with various assignments and projects.
This will include considering tax planning issues and you will get the chance to assist with providing tax advice to clients in areas that include incorporations, IT/CGT planning, reconstructions and demergers, share schemes and EIS/SEIS.
About you:
CTA qualified with at least two years of corporate tax experience gained in a recognised accountancy firm
The ability to work on a portfolio of OMB’s, taking responsibility for the compliance work and identifying tax planning opportunities
An understanding of how other areas of taxation interact with corporate tax
The ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Good IT skills and tax technical ability
A team player with the ability to manage and mentor junior team members
