An opportunity has arisen for an Employment Tax Assistant Manager to join the Employment Solutions team of this world-leading firm in their London office. If you are a technically strong, dedicated tax professional with a hunger for unparalleled career progression, this firm is for you.
Responsibilities will include:
• Building and maintaining strong working relationships with clients
• Actively seeking opportunities for business development both externally and internally; identifying new opportunities through client and team interaction
• Working on a wide range of employment tax advisory projects, from large strategic projects through to risk and due diligence
• Managing employer compliance activities including completion of P11Ds and PAYE settlement agreements, and assisting with other processes such as employment status and termination payments
• Involvement in local marketing initiatives
• Reviewing work and coaching/developing junior colleagues
The ideal candidate will:
• Have an appropriate professional qualification: ATT/CTA/ACA/CA/CPA
• Have 3 or more years experience working in employment solutions
• Demonstrate perseverance and tenacity in the face of setbacks
• Identify and pursues business opportunities
• Take responsibility for own work
• Learn from experience, seeking out constructive feedback and personal development opportunities
• Have an understanding of employment solutions issues affecting payroll, social security, and internationally mobile employees
