A leading professional services firm is looking for a Global Mobility/Expatriate Tax Consultant with experience advising on the tax and legal aspects of global mobility, to be based in London. Responsibilities will include:
• Building and maintaining good relationships with clients
• Acting as the day to day contact for allocated clients
• Preparation of Income Tax calculations
• Preparation of Tax Equalisation calculations
• Conducting arrival/departure briefings
• Preparation of written advice for clients
• Project management of advisory projects carried out for clients
• Ensuring clients are provided with up to date information on GMS developments
• Involvement in business development/proposals
• Working with large/mid-size clients

The successful candidate must display the following qualities:

• Previous tax experience with UK Expat tax background in the B2C segment, including tax briefings, tax returns and advisory
• Experience in preparing income tax calculations
• Experience in preparing tax equalisation calculations
• Project management experience of advisory projects which involve working with clients
• Previous experience which shows involvement in business development
• Previous experience working with large/mid-sized clients
• An energetic, committed, and ambitious
• High level of personal responsibility and accountability for own work
• Capacity to receive positive, constructive feedback
• Experience of resolving issues using an analytical approach; identifies core issues, investigates, evaluates and integrates information
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• A flexible attitude, positive outlook, with a commitment to team working
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work under own initiative
• The capability of working to deadlines with experience to prove this, showing resilience under pressure and ability to apply knowledge to non-routine situations
