Corporate Tax Manager – Holborn – to £65, 000

The Company and Opportunity

We are now working exclusively with a firm of Global Expansion and Inward Investment Specialists in Central London that are looking to make a critical hire within their Tax team. The firm work closely with a large number of US Tech Companies with considerable financial backing and support these firms by providing a mix of compliance and advisory services upon their expansion into the UK and Europe and continue to support them as their operations grow. This is a very rare hire for the firm as they are looking for an ambitious Qualified Corporate Tax professional to join their team at Assistant Manager / Manager level in order to continue to provide an essential service to various organisations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide client facing tax services to international companies setting up in the UK and Europe.
• Undertake a mix of Corporate Tax compliance and consultancy services to a range of clients which will include advice on VAT, Inward Investment and General Tax and Planning.
• Take control of a full client portfolio and be responsible for the team, providing support and supervision where necessary to develop more junior professionals.
• Research and be able to communicate clear tax advice for identifying tax opportunities and assessing risks.

You

• ACA / ACCA Qualified with up to 5 years PQE – Tax Qualifications such as the ATT and CTA may also be considered.
• From an accountancy background with experience of working with a variety of clients.
• Strong technical knowledge and accuracy.
• Experience of managing a client portfolio as well as a team of staff at mixed levels.
• Language skills would be advantageous.

The role also has an attached client portfolio and therefore doesn’t require your own client base.
