A global infrastructure business is currently seeking to appoint a tax manager following a major internal restructure. This rare opportunity will offer unparalleled exposure to international tax planning and strategy to a stand-out candidate.
Reporting into the Head of Tax, you would be joining a highly regarded in-house team and have ownership of various processes from day one.
Responsibilities:
- Provision of tax advice and recommended tax planning strategy for a variety of group projects, inclusive of M&A, cross-border transactions and transfer pricing
- Ownership of outsourced CT compliance, reviewing returns and ensuring timely filing
- Manage internal and external relationships, dealing directly with HMRC
- Assist in the Group’s tax reporting
- Continuous input on group wide finance transformation projects
Requirements:
- ACA/CTA/ADIT Qualified with Big 4 or Top Tier training
- Up-to-date knowledge of corporation tax, comfortable providing high level tax advice for international tax projects
- A grounding in corporate tax compliance and reporting
- Exposure to other taxes beneficial (probably through CTA)
- Comfortable with working across the wider finance team, explaining tax matters to non-tax personnel
