The Team

A newly created tax team, whose purpose is to service a large, growing portfolio of Infrastructure clients. The team also consults on infrastructure and urban renewal projects, liaising with other groups in the business, providing valuable advice from a tax perspective. Due to recent growth, the team could accommodate a seasoned Corporate Tax expert, to provide immediate impact.

The Role

This is a varied advisory role, with elements of compliance tied in. Day-to-day, your role could differ hugely. Expect a challenge, and to find yourself involved in:

* Managing an engaged portfolio of infrastructure and renewable energy clients, advising on a range of Corporate Tax issues
* Updating clients on, and planning in anticipation of, changes to the tax legal landscape
* Providing tax insight on a range of infrastructure and renewable energy projects
* Advising clients on a range of tax-effective structures, and contributing to strategic consultation on bordering issues e.g. transactions, movement of people etc
* Contributing actively to BD and client retention
* Preparing and reviewing corporate tax returns

The Ideal Candidate

Our client is looking for a motivated, polished Corporate Tax expert, with an interest in specialising in Infrastructure and Renewable Energy. If you feel like the following description sounds familiar, you are likely to be a good fit:

* Proven, qualified tax advisor, whether Chartered, a lawyer, Master of Tax, or a combination
* Experienced, and able to draw on years of advising large corporates, trusts and High Net Worth individuals
* Superb communicator, and confident in your own ability to deliver
* Flexible in your approach to finding your client the best result, and constantly finding new solutions to problems
