Working alongside EMEA Tax Management, you will be administering on a wide range of VAT technical system issues as well as liaising and assisting general VAT compliance with queries. This role is a genuine opportunity for someone with 1-2 years VAT experience to grow and develop and extend your experience.
Main Duties
* Assisting on VAT matters, working closely with the EMEA Tax manager and developing good relationships with internal stake holders.
* Configure VAT matrix tables according to flows and business requirements.
* Trouble-shoot errors from the Ordering system related to VAT matrix configuration
* Research and analysis under the guidance & supervision of EMEA tax management.
* Monitoring deadlines and obligations.
* Assist Tax manager with responding on ad hoc VAT queries
* Ad hoc jobs as required
Skills and qualifications
* Proficiency in Excel and Outlook essential
* Previous VAT experience would be preferable
* IT literate and be able to communicate clearly by both telephone & email
* Strong work ethic
* Ability to work as part of a team
* Ability to work unsupervised
* Strong attention to detail and accuracy
