The Role

This is a varied taxation role, combining high-volume reporting and a range of advisory projects. Under the guidance of experienced Partners, you can expect to provide valuable input in the following areas:

* Tax planning advice to multinational businesses, high-net-worth private clients, and trusts (including AREITs and MITs
* Wealth-related tax calculations and advice, including CGT and losses
* Tax compliance work: tax return preparation, FBT calculations, tax effect accounting, and statements of taxable income
* Written commentary on taxation developments to a range of external bodies and the media
* Preparing technical papers as part of Business Development

The Ideal Candidate

This role would suit an ambitious, polished tax accountant, trained in a mid-tier or boutique firm. If you are looking for a step up in your career, and feel like you fit the following description, do not hesitate to apply:

* CA qualified, with 1 to 3 years' experience in a reputable tax team
* Well-versed in Australian taxation laws, and a firm understanding of the regulatory environment
* High-volume compliance experience in e.g. tax return preparation
* Practical knowledge of the application of a range of corporate and personal taxes
* Outstanding communication skills, and a confidence with clients and internal stakeholders
