A global organisation based in South Manchester with offices all around the world is currently looking for an In-house Tax Accountant to join their prestigious finance team. This is a perfect opportunity for either someone looking to make their first move out of practice into industry or someone who is already in an in-house tax position looking to join a multinational, big-brand business.
Client Details
Reporting into the Senior Management team, you will be responsible for supporting the Group's tax requirements in a fast-paced, exciting position. Due to the nature of the business, there will be a mix of international tax, corporate tax and general accounting in this reactive organisation.
Description
Responsibilities include, but won't be restricted to:
* Working with Tax Advisers in the preparation and filing of annual tax computations and calculation of accounts provisions.
* Reviewing international tax issues including transfer pricing and country by country reporting.
* Maintaining and updating transfer pricing policies across Group companies
* Reviewing the current tax structure and planning for future opportunities
* Understanding tax implications and advising on business transactions
* Supporting wider finance team with statutory accounts
* Quarterly reporting to shareholders
Profile
The successful candidate will be ACA / ATT or CTA qualified or qualified by experience in the relevant profession or HMRC. You must have an expert technical and operational knowledge of corporate tax and a good understanding of accounting under IFRS. In addition to this, you must be a strong communicator with the ability to develop credible relationships at all levels of the business.
