Tax Technology role role with a leading Fortune 500.
3M are a market leading, science-based technology company, with a commitment to innovation and ethics. They are listed on NYSE, with sales of $30bn in 2015. The group is currently undertaking a significant transformation project of their VAT function. As a result, they are currently looking to hire an experienced Tax Technology specialist to support the wider transformation agenda, working closely with global tax and finance teams. The role will actively manage the SAP/Sabrix packages in European countries, and assist in deployment of the solution in new territories.
The role
* Support SAP/Sabrix in existing country deployments, addressing issues with existing processes, providing subject matter expertise to local country personnel, and ensuring that controls are in place.
* Actively participating in projects throughout their lifecycle - from design through delivery.
* Understand current configuration in order to resolve user issues or provide feedback on current process or transactions.
* Understand the supply chain model and be able to communicate this when necessary to user groups.
* Communicate with cross-functional teams to provide solutions.
* Maintain high level configuration.
* Maintain Sabrix logic for the EMEA area in the Development, Quality Assurance and User Acceptance Testing environments.
About you
* Strong stakeholder management skills.
* Knowledge of European VAT is very beneficial.
* Prior experience with SAP & Sabrix, or any other large tax engines.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
