Assistant Tax Manager, Global Brand, London

One of the world's most recognised brands is looking to appoint a Assistant Tax Manager. Based in Central London and reporting in to one of the most impressive individuals in the market, this person will play a leading role in transitioning the tax function to a true 'value add' department. There is fantastic scope for career development, and it is anticipated that this role will quickly develop in to a senior leadership post.

Key Responsibilities:

* Corporation tax computation preparation, tax forecasting and year end/interim tax reporting.
* Develop appropriate pricing for intra-group arrangements, including maintenance of transfer pricing.
* Provide pragmatic advice and assistance to requests for tax input on projects, plans and international growth.
* International tax compliance, including analyse of PEs, CFCs, DPT, CT61 returns.
* Provide tax support for UK and international M&A activity.
* Consider tax implications of the group's foreign exchange hedging policy and plan to mitigate tax consequences.
* Assist in the development of tax planning initiatives.

Qualifications:

* Recently qualified ACA or ATII or CTA
* Experience from Big 4/Top 20/commerce/industry
* Strong knowledge of UK corporation tax and deferred tax
* Good knowledge of international tax concepts, including transfer pricing
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to work as part of a team and manage multiple projects
