A chartered accountancy practice with office based in Manchester, Bolton and Liverpool. This firm offers a multitude of services in accounts, audit, taxation, payroll and business advisory, due to organic growth this firm are looking to recruit into their tax function in Bolton.

Your new role
Your new role as a Personal Tax senior will involve managing your own varied portfolio of personal tax clients, made up predominantly of partners and directors and high net-worth individuals. You will be accountable for the the submission of self-assessment tax returns and will work closely with the tax partner and a manager to develop your already established skill set, gradually increasing the involvement you have in tax planning work. You will be accountable for establishing a strong working relationship with your clients and keeping in regular contact via various means in regards to their tax affairs. You will be the point of contact between the client and HMRC

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this position, you will have experience of managing your own portfolio of personal tax clients from within a reputable accountancy practice. In addition to the general associated compliance, you will have experience in the basics of tax planning work. The ideal candidate for this position will be recently ATT qualified looking to study towards CTA, part way through CTA, or coming towards the end of their ATT qualification. You will be ambitious, organised and an excellent communicator.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a competitive salary of between £20,000-£27,000 dependent on experience and a full study support package if required. You will also receive 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holidays (increasing with time served.
