This is an opportunity to join the European tax department and provide tax advice to a number of businesses across Europe. The work will include international tax planning, providing day-to-day tax advice, transfer pricing, handling relationships with fiscal authorities, and oversight of tax compliance.
The role requires will need strong German corporate experience, including tax advisory and tax reporting experience and exposure to handling tax audits. The role will also co-ordinate external tax advisors.
The Group is looking for someone with potential leadership skills who might be interested in managing the tax department in years to come. Around 7 years of experience in German corporate tax is needed, gained in a Big 4 firm, law firm, or from the in-house tax department of another multinational company. Solid knowledge of transfer pricing rules is also required.
You will need direct tax expertise (Certified German tax advisor), enabling you to have tax technical discussions with staff & tax authorities. Fluency in English and German is essential and you will need to be creative and able to combine business desires with tax regulations.
