R&D Tax Manager with a Top 10 firm in Manchester, paying up to £65,000
Your new company
A leading provider of audit, tax and consulting services to middle market leaders, globally. This Top 10 practice has over 3,500 partners and staff in the UK and access to more than 41,400 people in over 120 countries across the their network. This firm is undergoing considerable organic growth at the moment and are looking to recruit an experienced R&D tax manager.
Your new role
You will be responsible for preparing / reviewing R&D claims, identifying opportunities and approaching targets in the local market, scoping and pricing work and reviewing output. You will offer advise around R&D Tax Credits and how to best utilise these. You will ensure tax quality at all times by adhering to the Firm's quality standards and brief junior staff on the client's business and the pre-assignment instructions, whilst supervising and controlling the completion of work, and to undertake 'on the job' training. You will liaise with the client throughout the year and to practise the principles of excellent client service at all times with regular liaison.
You will also research and assist in the preparation of proposals for new work.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a proven track record in R&D tax ideally at a senior level with previous people management experience. You will also come from a practice background, and ideally be ACA/CTA qualified (ideal but not essential).
