Long established small accountancy practice looking for a part time mixed tax manage- Denton, Manchester

Your new company
A long established, independent firm of Chartered Accountants with offices in Stockport and Denton in Manchester, providing accountancy services to individuals and businesses. Due to expansion within their tax department and an on-boarding of new clients, this firm are now looking to bring in a new tax portfolio manager to relive work off the partners and manage their own portfolio.

Your new role
As a part time mixed tax senior, you will be responsible for managing your own allocation of clients predominantly weighted towards corporate tax. You will be accountable for the general compliance, preparation and submission of tax returns and ad hoc advisory and tax planning work, increasingly with experience of being in post. You will handle enquiries from the client and HMRC and will be liaise with clients via email, telephone and face to face.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this position, you will have experience in managing a mixed tax portfolio from within practice and will have handled both compliance and advisory work in implementing tax efficiency's. You will be proactive and hard working, a good communicator and be able to spot new business opportunities and cross sell. You will also be a comfortable net-worker and be able to self manage you workload effectively.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a very generous salary dependent on experience of between £20,000-£40,000 dependent on experience and pro-rated accordingly. You will also receive a rare part time and flexi- hour opportunity with the scope to work either three or four days. In addition, this is a small, supportive firm with a family feel culture and convenient location.
