Corporate Tax Role (In-house & mixed Taxes), Law Firm, London

A well-known Law Firm is sourcing for a part qualified ACCA/CTA/ACA looking for a challenge and change and who would love to join a growing in-house tax function. The role is a lovely mix of tax compliance & tax advisory for the LLP covering Corporate Tax, Partnership Tax & VAT. This is an excellent opportunity to take a significant step up in your tax career whilst finishing your qualifications.

The role in question works within Group Tax and reports into the Group Tax & Partnership Manger & aligns very closely with the Financial Accounting team.

The firm you are joining is a globally recognisable international Law Firm with businesses throughout Europe, ME & Asia.

You will be responsible for UK Tax Compliance for the LLP covering Corporate Tax, VAT & PAY, submitting CT returns to the HMRC & be generally responsive for risk management issues for the Group.

You equally will prepare LLP tax computation and allocation of tax adjusted profits between the partners and work very closely with Partnership Tax team.

From an indirect tax point, you will review quarterly returns & deal with VAT planning issues and queries arising from HMRC inspection.

The role reports into an individual who prides herself on training and development so as a new person to the team, you are not expected to know all of the above but come with a strong foundation in UK tax. You will be a very effective communicator & be generally proactive & engaged in learning & developing.
