With their international tax team headquartered out of Michigan and further offices in Houston, Miami, Zurich and London they consider themselves as leading international tax firm who compete extensively with Big 4 firms as far as client acquisition.
Their international tax practice is focused on assisting the needs of corporate clients, high net worth individuals and expatriates with foreign interests. They are seeking an International Tax Leader (with or without a book of business) to help further their growth by taking responsibility of developing the firms Miami clientele. This opportunity presents the right individual with the opportunity to join this firm in a leadership capacity on a partnership track and with the added element of being rewarded directly for your own success and that of the business.
You will be working alongside two partners who sit in Michigan to provide high quality services to a mixture of outbound and inbound clients. You will be meeting with clients, engaging in business development alongside tax planning, compliance, research and reviewing of junior level tax returns. You will have extensive experience with inbound/outbound scenarios, structuring, foreign trusts, private client tax and estate planning.
My client is seeking an ambitious CPA with 10+ years’ experience in a public accounting or law firm environment. You will have strong technical skills alongside a desire to further develop your own book of business alongside that of the firms. Prior business development experience is essential, this will be a considerable element of the role so there must be a desire to engage with prospective clients. A second language is highly desirable such as Spanish, Portuguese or Russian
The salary and benefits on offer are highly competitive. There is also a revenue generated linked commission structure.
