Tax Associate (in-house role), London

A well-known business are sourcing for a bright ACA/CTA for a mixed taxes role (indirect & Corporate tax) for a close knit tax team. The role is ideal for a person looking to move in-house and gain access to multiple taxes and work very closely with the Head of Tax.

The role is ideally suited for Qualified Accountant (ACA, CTA, CIMA or ACCA), who is passionate about learning how an in-house team works an is happy to run the compliance cycle for Indirect Tax & Corporate Tax. The role is 60% Indirect focused at this juncture so it is ideal for the person to come with some exposure to VAT or have a genuine interest in learning it.

You will assist the Head of Tax with preparation of VAT returns, production of London Branch's Corporation Tax whilst gaining exposure to the following advisory concepts:

* Reviewing of transaction documentation to mitigate the Bank's tax risk.
* Supporting the Head of Tax in handling European Tax issues.
* Assisting with reviewing of new products
* Maintenance & support of transfer pricing policy.

This is a role which allows a person excellent technical scope, the opportunity to be involved in exciting projects whilst learning the business by ensuring the business is VAT & Corporation Tax compliant.
