Your new role
Reporting to Senior Management, you will be responsible for delivering an independent and objective risk-based Internal Audit service designed to systematically evaluate and improve the risk management, control and governance processes, specifically focusing on auditing the change programme.
You will be responsible for the end to end delivery of audits including integration audits looking at the transformational change programme, major system upgrades (mortgages, HR and finance systems), business case approval process; business continuity and incident management.
You will be responsible for managing stakeholder relationships across the business and will maintain and build a deep understanding of the risk and control environment relating to change programmes; and support continuous monitoring and audit planning activities.
You will work towards improving the efficiency and effectiveness of change auditing across the bank.
What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally maintain a CISA, IIA IT Auditing Certificate or CISSP qualification with significant experience auditing large scale change programmes.
Financial services experience is preferable, however it is not essential and those willing to build upon and develop their skills within a fast paced, retail bank setting will be considered.
Knowledge and experience surrounding cyber risks is highly desirable.
