The Audit Executive plays a central role within the Assurance team here within Grant Thornton UK LLP and as one of the team you'll have a genuine interest in our clients. We want to provide a distinctive service and unlock potential for growth in dynamic organisations. You'll be leading on site audit teams, effectively exceeding client's expectations, asking great questions, listening and drawing on our collective knowledge and experience to really help others grow.
What you'll be doing:
• you'll take an active part in the audit planning discussions to identify audit risks and appropriate audit strategy
• you'll prepare or review work papers and drafts of the financial statements
• you'll oversee all aspects of audit fieldwork and completion
• you'll consistently achieve deadlines and understand the commercial implications of actions relating to productivity, recoverability, fee income and client service

Education, experience and qualifications:
• you'll have Maths and English Language at GCSE or equivalent
• you'll hold a professional qualification (ACA, CA, ACCA)
• you'll have experience of using Microsoft packages, internet, email and computerised audit packages
• you'll ideally have first time passes at each stage of your professional exams
