I'm working on behalf of a highly reputable UK wide organisation in Manchester city centre. They have just moved into brand new offices with state of the art software, equipment and systems.

Your new role
To operate and manage the VAT compliance process including the preparation of the VAT returns. To provide VAT & IPT advice to the business, whilst also identifying VAT risk & opportunities.
You will also be responsible for providing specialist indirect tax input, advice and guidance to projects and other business areas.
This is a stand-alone role working alongside colleagues in direct tax.

What you'll need to succeed
You must be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse complex business situations in order to provide the best practical indirect tax advice to the organisation. Sound technical knowledge and experience of indirect tax in a accounting/financial services background is a must.
Candidates will ideally be CTA qualified or have substantial practical experience gained in industry, the profession or HMRC.
