Partnership Tax - 12 months + FTC - Magic Circle Law firm, London

Magic Circle law firm is currently seeking a partnership tax assistant to be involved with interfacing with Partners, Business Support Directors and Managers, local/regional accountants and external advisors on a varied and challenging role.

The Role

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Preparation and review of:

* Partnership profit sharing calculations
* Annual tax reserving calculations
* UK Partnership Tax computation, including Double Tax Relief claims
* Corporation Tax computations for the Partnership's UK service companies

* Maintenance and reconciliation of Partner tax reserve accounts
* Liaison with overseas advisors and Finance Controllers to ensure timely international tax compliance
* Management of Partner Capital, and managing banking relationships
* Supporting wider Finance Team colleagues with international Withholding Tax management and recovery
* Supporting wider Finance Team colleagues with international projects and initiatives, such as new office openings
* Management of the firm's PE risk exposure
* Dealing with ad hoc queries relating to areas such as Employment Tax and VAT
