One client, a global multinational & leader in its field is looking for international tax professional to join its International Tax Team. The role is based in Central London.
Reporting to the Head of Tax, you will make use your international tax experience in a highly commercial context, improving the tax effectiveness of business transactions and achieving tax cost efficiencies where possible.
Day to day, this will involve assisting the Head of Tax in the planning & implementation of a range of exciting projects including M&A, business disposals and group reorganisations. This is also a fantastic opportunity to travel across Europe and proactively engage with the various businesses to support them on tax audits, establish & monitor group tax policies & guidelines and support local business units on group tax accounting, transfer pricing and country-by-country reporting.
Culturally, it is vitally important that you are a flexible, motivated and approachable person who can build strong relationships across an organisation.
You will probably have a minimum of four UK corporate tax experience, gained in a big 4 or law firm, ideally including exposure to cross-border tax issues. Fluency in English is essential and another European language would be an advantage.
