Our client is a Global Multinational business looking to hire an International Tax manager to join their central london team.
This is a very particular role as has a lot of autonomy and reports to the Group Financial Controller, however is a team that they help each other and very dynamic too.
The Group Tax Manager position will work in close cooperation with the Regional Financial Controllers and tax specialists in other Group entities. There will be frequent interaction with other functions such as Corporate Affairs, Business Development, Treasury, Legal and Financial Control, and also with the Group Finance Manager and the PLC Financial Accountant on UK tax issues including VAT and EU sales etc.
The role will focus on optimising the tax efficiency of UK and cross-border transactions, M&A activities, cash flow management and debt /equity financing structures executed at a Group level. There will be a strong focus on overseeing compliance with applicable tax laws in the UK, ensuring all respective subsidiaries are compliant in their jurisdictions.
This is a Group tax title position and great in terms of progression for someone that is a manager level to accelerate & progression.
This is an independent role , autonomous and has to suit someone very confident as is a decision maker, and there is a lot of interaction with very senior stakeholders.
YOU
Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent) and/or qualified tax advisor (CTA or equivalent).
Experience in international tax projects
Skilled communicator within and across disciplines.
