Tax Manager

An international developer of infrastructure based in West London is looking for Tax Manager.

An internationally regarded infrastructure operator committed to developing sustainable solutions is looking for a career driven Tax Manager. As a result of continued growth, there is now the need to recruit a Tax Manager to the team based in West London. A global presence in over 20 Countries and on the prestigious sustainability indices.

Your new role
The role will sit as part of the UK & Ireland group tax team. You will be responsible for reviewing direct tax computations which are prepared in-house as well as providing a full range of corporation tax services for the UK & Ireland group. You will act as coordinator for outsourced joint venture tax compliance liaising with both internal Finance teams and external service providers.You will provide support to the finance teams with the provision of statutory tax disclosure notes and advise on tax accounting.

As a core member of the team, your success will be driven by your awareness of accounting issues and how they impact upon tax is essential. This will include strong year end consolidated IFRS group tax reporting; you will provide support to the finance teams with the provision of statutory reporting deadlines. Ensuring all iXBRL tagging is completed and tax returns filed within the set deadlines.You will also be assisting with quarterly financial reporting and ad-hoc questions from finance on the tax treatment of certain tax items.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be ACA / CTA qualified with 6 years experience gained from either a Professional Services or in-house background. Management experience would be preferable as this role will take responsibility for 2 team members. The ability to solve problems and with strong analytical skills are essential.
