Tax Assistant

Assistant Tax Accountant role at a Private University based in London. Salary up to £40,000 + study support

This private university is a specialist in many areas, including law, accountancy, banking and finance. With a number of locations throughout the UK, this university has a large presence within higher education. This institution is now looking to add an Assistant Tax Accountant to join their team.

Your new role
Your main duty will be to assist with all areas of the institution's UK and international tax compliance. This role will allow you to gain exposure to a variety of taxes, by assisting with UK tax computations, quarterly VAT return and corporation tax. You will also assist with other duties, such as the audit process and quarterly tax provision reporting.

This role is excellent for someone who is looking to improve their tax experience and to refine their pre-existing skills.

What you'll need to succeed
You will hold a degree and be part-qualified in a tax/accounting qualification (CTA/ACA/equivalent), and have previous experience preparing UK tax computation on OneSource.

What you'll get in return
