Are you someone with solid personal tax experience who is looking to take the next step in your career? An opportunity has arisen for you to join a dynamic, growing Top 100 accountancy firm as a Tax Semi-Senior. This firm prides itself on taking a proactive approach and has strong relationships with a diverse client base including corporates, SME, HNWIS and start-ups across a wide range of sectors. The firm is known for treating relationships with clients like partnerships, getting to know them personally in order to be able to deliver creative, bespoke solutions.

As a Semi-Senior you will primarily be managing your own portfolio of approximately 150 private clients, including individuals, sole traders, partnerships and trusts. The majority of your compliance work will thus centre on personal clients, however there will be occasional work on corporate tax matters and ad hoc advisory and planning work. You will assist your Manager on looking after the department's compliance process, also training more junior members of staff where necessary. You will work closely alongside a small, friendly and highly motivated team who will be open to your ideas and encourage you to achieve your potential. Support towards CTA study is also a possibility.

To be successful in this role, you will need experience of at least two cycles of personal tax compliance working at assistant level in a professional services firm, and to be either studying towards or ATT qualified. More specifically, you should have a good working knowledge of income tax, capital gains tax and corporation tax. You must have excellent communication and client service skills, possess commercial awareness and be able to demonstrate a hunger to learn and develop professionally.
