Reporting to the European VAT Manager.

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager within Indirect Tax in the Global Shared Service Centre of this Global Company. The main focus of the role is to ensure that the EMEA Indirect Tax Team provide high quality customer Indirect Tax services. This is a key, essential role, requiring proven strong leadership skills with the ability to manage the delivery of Indirect Tax compliance and advisory services across the Group.

You must have a proven VAT / Indirect tax background either from a practice or an industry role. You must be able to showcase strong UK VAT knowledge and exposure to European countries. You will need staff management experience and be able to manage project deadlines. This is a role which is mixed in focus across compliance and advisory work, a hands on nature for the good of the team is essential at peak times.
