Private Client Senior Associate, Counsel - US HQ Law firm, London

Wall St headquartered US firm making a strategic step into Private Client, International Private client in their London office. Most US firms have a bare bone, skeleton, corporate tax support oriented practice - not this firm, they have a large (comparatively) tax grouping with a staple of existing private client workflow.

Your hire would be the first pure private client lawyer in the UK to complement what they are already transacting in this space already in the UK. You would come in on a distinct Partner track (provided objectives achieved) and see yourself at Partner level within 1-3 years.

The team are involved in some of the very biggest M&A, Financial Services deals, Private Equity and Funds work (both own account/structuring) and transactional and from these relationships they have a core number of clients they advise on their International Private Client matters.

Types of private client matters are as follows:

* Family Office reogranisations
* Relocating executives, family members globally
* Trust structuring
* Advising the owners, directors, executives of Funds and Houses on their global personal taxation issues.
* Asset & Wealth Management

This is a rare (* for a US firm in London) hire and will see your career tie in with the increasing trend of global wealth advice being sought after with US firms seen as having the global footprint and know-how.
