Accounts and Tax Assistant in Swindon

I am recruiting for an Accounts and Tax Assistant to join an award winning accountancy firm on the outskirts of Swindon. This is an immediate start role, paying between £15,000-£25,000 depending on level and experience. You will work full-time, Monday to Friday. This role would ideally suit someone just starting within accounts or tax qualifications, looking for their second role in the industry or someone currently studying with 1-2 years experience in an accountancy firm, both with a can-do attitude and an eagerness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

*Preparation of annual accounts for a range of businesses and sizes

*Preparation of management accounts, VAT and tax returns

*Preparation of personal and partnership tax returns

*Book keeping and tax reconciliations

Qualifications and experience needed:

*1 year minimum of practice experience

*Experience using accountancy software packages

*Enthusiastic to learn and work to targets

*Able to work to deadlines whilst delivering exceptional service levels

*Happy to work within a fast paced environment
