Corporate Tax Manager or Senior Manager job with Top 10 firm in Norwich or Ipswich. Salary £40-60k DOE

Hays Taxation are currently recruiting a Corporate Tax Manager for a Top 10 firm in Norwich.

The role involves the provision of tax compliance and advisory services to a wide range of corporate clients, and will also involve the provision of tax advice to their employees and shareholders.

Reporting to the Tax Partner and working directly with the firm clients, your primary responsibility will be to manage the corporation tax compliance requirements of a portfolio of clients, from the planning and preparation of corporation tax returns and computations to their submission to HM Revenue & Customs, and dealing with any subsequent enquiries.

You will provide assistance to Partners in both client advisory work and in the management of the group and on occasions the tax practice. Other important aspects of the role will involve adherence to the firm quality management processes and actively seeking, and keeping the Partners informed of, new business opportunities arising on existing and new clients.

You will be technically strong, self-motivated, organised, and able to work to tight deadlines, have excellent interpersonal skills and have a good awareness of risk issues in tax practice.

The successful candidate is likely to have a desire to progress to a Senior Manager position or beyond.
