Who we are looking for
Our team provides specialist tax advice to top tier plcs and inbound multinationals. Our Clients include many household names and are from all industry sectors (except Financial Services). The work is technically demanding and creative, and offers opportunities to work on major corporate transactions, international structuring, and a range of day-to-day UK tax matters and audit of tax work. Tax return preparation is not done by the team.
You will be responsible for building close relationships with a wide range of clients, working as part of a team and delivering the Firms tax services. You will benefit from a progressive environment where you will be encouraged to develop client relationships, technical and people management skills. There will also be opportunities to develop deeper knowledge in particular areas of interest such as international structuring, finance and treasury tax and value chain transformation.
About the role
The client work is technically stimulating, rarely routine and offers opportunities to help solve the tax and business issues of companies that are household names. The work is wide-ranging including major corporate transactions, cross-border structuring projects and providing domestic and international advice. As a Manager you will have the opportunity to work with experienced Senior Managers, Directors and Partners on your client teams.
The team will provide you with the opportunity to put into practice your tax technical skills in a stimulating and challenging environment.
You will work with a portfolio of clients, and on a day-to-day basis will work with these client teams delivering tax services. Client teams range in size depending on the client and nature of the work. In addition, you will have a People Manager who will manage your performance, well-being and development.

Being a global organisation we are able to offer staff the opportunity to go on international secondments and there are further options to develop technically and professionally through varied client secondments.
Requirements
UK professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/ATT/CTA/legal qualification) or overseas equivalent.
You will have gained significant international and UK corporate tax advisory experience, and experience of audit of tax is preferred.
You will need a flexible approach to allow you to work as part of a number of client teams simultaneously.
You will have experience of developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internally.
You will need strong analytical skills and a proven ability to solve complex problems in a collaborative and creative way.
