Personal Tax Manager | Wilmslow | £35,000-£40,000 Dependent on experience

Your new company
Your new company is a 5 partner accountancy practice based in Wilmslow specialising in a broad range of accounting, audit, taxation, payroll and business advisory services. Acting exclusively for the medical profession and having done so for over 40 years, this practice now consists of 33 staff with 11 pure Tax professionals. The Tax Department within this firm comprises of 2 Managers, 6 Tax Seniors, 2 in Payroll and 1 Tax Administrator.

Your new role
Your new role will involve managing your own portfolio of circa 260 personal tax clients, consisting of high net worth individuals, company directors, sole traders and trusts. You will be responsible for the general compliance and tax returns for your clients and providing ad hoc tax planning advice. You will also be responsible for maintaining client relationships and client liaison over email, telephone and face to face.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be a successful applicant for this role you will come from a practice background most recently and have an up to date knowledge of Personal Tax legislation. You will be confident in liaising with clients over email, face to face and via telephone. You will ideally be ATT qualified and/or CTA/ACA/ACCA .

What you'll get in return
In return for your efforts you will receive a salary of between £35,000-£40,000 dependent on experience plus 20 days annual leave plus 8 days bank holiday. You will receive the opportunity to work within a growing firm with flexible working hours and the opportunity to work from home.
