Corporate Tax Senior, Liverpool

Corporate Tax opportunity with a large & reputable independent firm in Liverpool city centre £25,000-£45,000

Your new company
A large independent firm with 4 offices in the North West alone and a large tax team based predominantly in their Liverpool location. This firm has an enviable portfolio of corporate tax clients and an excellent reputation locally for delivering a high quality tax service to both entrepreneurial SME clients and larger corporates. In addition to wholly UK based corporate tax clients, this firm also act's for both inbound and outbound international corporate tax clients, as well as some PLC clients.

Your new role
Your new role will involve the preparation of corporation tax computations for larger clients, some of which are UK and overseas groups. You will also take accountability for the review of corporation tax computations for smaller clients and the preparation of claims for research and development tax relief. In addition you will be accountable for the preparation of the tax disclosures to be included in the statutory accounts of the larger clients and also have an involvement in advisory work as experience increases.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have recent experience of working with a accountancy practice, ideally within corporate tax, however this is not essential. Candidates wishing to move from an audit role to tax will be considered as long as you are ACA/ACCA qualified. Training for CTA will be supported for candidates looking to pick this up. You will be ambitious and keen to learn and will be an excellent communicator to establish and maintain client relationships.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will receive a salary that is flexible and dependent on your experience of between £25,000-£45,000 plus 23 days annual leave and 8 days bank holiday. You will also receive an excellent training opportunity should you be a candidate starting out in the forefront of your career and also have a broad and varied exposure to clients.
