Your new role
As a Tax Accountant, you will assist with the UK tax compliance and reporting requirements for the company. This will involve assisting with the preparation and submission of the UK tax returns for all UK Market Unit (UKMU) companies. You will also assist with the preparation of the tax computations and returns for a portfolio of companies within UKMU using tax return software. Assisting with the preparation of year-end provisions for a portfolio of companies within the UKMU for inclusion in the group accounts will also take up part of your day. If the business requires you to, you may also be asked to assist with compliance for other taxes, such as preparation of VAT returns or Employment taxes.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (CTA/ACA/equivalent), gained in a Top 20 firm or equivalent industry level. You will have a strong, broad understanding of Corporation Tax and have strong experience in a tax compliance, with up to date technical knowledge of UK tax and UK IFRS/UK GAAP financial reporting.
