As a Tax manager you will essentially connect closely with the business with one tax assistant reporting to you who is currently only doing VAT returns. You will undertake compliance work including CT tax returns for the UK entities, iXBRL (c. 30 entities but most are small/dormant), VAT overlooking, possibly employer duties support, half year and full year tax reporting. You will assist the business for local enquiries and tax reporting from a Group perspective.
You will be ACA or CTA qualified either a Professional Services or in-house background. The ability to solve problems and with strong analytical skills are essential.
