Global Investment Fund – Associate Tax Director – £85k + 30% bonus

Nebula Partners are working with a leading investment fund to identify a tax professional with experience of alternative investment tax issues to join their small tax advisory in-house team.

The tax group is intimately involved in the wider business’s investment structuring and tax planning, and liaises with the wider European and US groups regularly.

Reporting into the Tax Director and working closely with the senior management, the successful candidate will be involved in tax issues arising in the UK and Europe.

Primary responsibilities are as follows:
- Assist with the development and compliance with remuneration policy, structuring and delivery, compliant with UK and international tax rules.
- Management and oversight of service providers producing UK information on the taxation of carried interest from the funds
- Devise, own and deliver projects around improvement of tax process.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders and external advisers on UK information reporting to assist the wider business in understanding and complying with the new taxation regimes in relation carried interest.
- Liaise with senior management, tax legal team and regulatory team in planning for change and growth in the business and considering the impact of changes in local law and tax practice in relation to the current business.

You must also have a UK tax technical background with ACA/CTA, ADIT or equivalent qualifications. Experience dealing with carry rules is also essential. A proven ability to manage internal stakeholders and external client relationships will be beneficial. This role would be ideal for an experienced Manager or new Senior Manager in professional services looking to make the first move into a fund. This role offers real progression and the opportunity to widen the remit of the role.

Basic salary £85,000 plus industry leading benefits and a bonus up to 30%
