Personal Tax Supervisor or Assistant Manager, Edinburgh

This six partner firm of Chartered Accountants have an established market presence in Edinburgh.

Providing a wide range of professional services to SME’s and wealthy individuals, including tax advice, compliance and planning, an opportunity has arisen for an experienced personal tax supervisor or assistant manager to join their tax department.

The successful applicant will be tasked with managing a portfolio of clients including high net worth individuals, directors, sole traders, partnerships and trusts.

The role will initially be weighted towards compliance work, developing into more of an advisory focus as you develop your experience and tax technical knowledge.

You will take a proactive approach to some of the more complex returns, while also assisting more junior members of the team. This will include review of work prepared by members of the team, managing work flows and identifying tax planning opportunities.

This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced personal tax supervisor or a personal tax assistant manager.

Ideally you will be ATT and/or CTA qualified, although ‘qualified by experience’ will be sufficient and opportunities to study for the CTA will be provided for the right applicant.
