Simpson Booth are representing a top 10 professional services firm based in the Thames Valley who are looking to recruit a Senior Manager - Share Schemes to join their Equity Reward practice. This will cover the South and M4 corridor. As a Senior Manager you will have the opportunity to work closely with the Partner and Director and will play a key role in leading their growth strategy. This opportunity will offer an excellent range of high quality client facing advisory work as well as business development activity.
Key Responsibilities
You will support Partners and Directors through proactively targeting and developing new clients as well as leading and managing client engagements.
You will be advising on all areas of HMRC tax favoured and non-tax favoured share incentive plans including CSOPs, EMI, SAYE, SIPs and LTIPs. Your work will include plan design, drafting plan rules and ancillary documentation as well as advising on the tax/social security, company law and regulatory aspects of employee incentives and shareholdings.
In addition you will provide companies and management teams with employment securities advice in the context of corporate transactions including MBOs, MBIs and flotations.
Key Skills and Qualifications
You will be expected to have:
- appropriate share plans experience either in the professional services environment or in industry
- expertise in the relevant tax and social security legislation
- an ability to arrive at commercial solutions for our clients
- an excellent record of client service and an ability to manage your time efficiently working to sometimes tight deadlines
- a proactive approach to the management of client projects including taking responsibility for billing and fee management
- experience of business development or a desire to develop the relevant skills as well as experience of managing and developing more junior colleagues
In addition you should be ATT/CTA qualified or equivalent or be a qualified solicitor.
