The role is primarily based across Yorkshire, forming part of Grant Thornton’s national Innovation Group. The team works with a wide range of innovative companies, helping businesses to grow through claiming relevant tax reliefs.

Job Description:
Your main responsibilities:

• Acts as a focal point for the delivery of the tax relief advice to clients and the business.
• Proactively seeks out business development opportunities
• Writes high quality tax reports, professionally presented documents, requiring minimal input from directors or partners.
• Demonstrates an ability to analyse and interpret data, identifying potential issues and applying technical knowledge appropriately.
Experience/Education/Qualifications required:

Essential
• ACA/ACCA/CTA or equivalent
• Managerial Competence

Desirable
• Having a technical background (eg, engineering, software etc) would be an advantage.
• Knowledge of the Patent Box or an awareness to other Creative Sector tax reliefs.
