A Global Financial Institution Seeking US Tax Reporting Associate


A leading global banking institution who assist government and institutional clients to help them achieve consistent, long-term performance are seeking a Tax Associate for their global banking markets team. The role will be based in Canary Wharf.


In this exciting opportunity you will be responsible for the management and execution of US tax reporting processes. This will include QDD and FATCA. As a core member of the team you will own and manage all outstanding US tax related exceptions. You will be the point of escalation for Operations in relation to US tax regulatory queries, including documentation, reporting and accounting. This role will allow you to work with senior stakeholders whom you can learn from.


To be successful in the role, you will have a detailed understanding of US QI and FATCA reporting and regulatory requirements across both custodial and principle environments. You will be aware of other operational tax regulations and scenarios eg. FTT, UK Tax credits, reclaims and documentation. You will understanding of related products including SBLs, swaps, fixed income repos, equities trading and how these are governed by the reporting requirements For your commitment to the job you can expect to be remunerated well and rewarded with a potential bonus.
