This is an opportunity for a German tax manager to take on a key position in this market leading, global, specialist manufacturing company in Bensheim, near Frankfurt.
The European Tax Manager will look after all tax matters in Germany and a group of European countries and provide advice to the businesses, manage the tax compliance and tax reporting processes. The role will implement tax planning opportunities and restructurings with focus on the German subsidiaries and also work on global tax projects, transfer pricing, M&A, reorganisations, and tax audits etc. The role will also work together with the Company’s Finance and Treasury Functions with respect to the tax aspects of budgets, forecasts, reporting of specific transactions, withholding taxes, and treasury-related transactions
We are looking for someone with a positive personality who will enjoy working in a standalone position that is part of a vibrant European tax team. It requires someone who is communicative, open to new ideas and able to work in a collaborative way. Ideally, you will have around 5 - 10 years’ experience either in-house or in big 4. German & English language skills are essential, other languages are advantageous.
The company will assist with relocation support, if you are not currently based in the Bensheim area.
