A world leader in environmental services are recruiting for a Tax Advisor to join their team. Your new role
You will have an interesting range of duties, making sure your role stays fresh and new, with a focus on developing you as a tax professional. Your main responsibility will the preparation of corporation tax returns for a large group of companies in the UK and Ireland. However, due to the size the company, you will also have to take tax notes for statutory accounts purposes (IFRS, FRS101 & FRS102). You will also, report to the French parent, under IFRS, on multiple occasions throughout the year including consolidated workings. You will also liaise with HMRC in regard to employment tax issues, in particular expatriates. You will also be able to experience new parts of tax by assisting with project work, this can include working on M&A and due diligence.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CTA) accountant with previous experience working with tax, either in-house, or in practice. a solid understanding of deferred tax is also necessary. Strong Excel skills are also required.
