New Tax Project Manager role based in London. Competitive salary + bonus + benefits

This multinational construction company has become one of the most established in its industry. With offices in 90+ countries, the company has worked on a variety of major projects around the world.
Your new role
You will support the Deputy Tax Director in providing tax advice to projects undertaken by the development arm of the company. You will apply VAT, SDLT and other tax knowledge to complex transactions. The role will also include other ad hoc tax work supporting major construction projects and other divisional projects in the UK will also be required.
You will also provide VAT, SDLT, corporation tax and customs duty support as appropriate to the wider business within the UK and provide training as appropriate to improve the level of VAT knowledge and reporting by site teams.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a good knowledge of UK transaction taxes gained in industry, practice or HMRC. SDLT and VAT knowledge is essential. Previous experience working with the construction industry is desirable. You will have to work with strict deadlines and therefore must be able to handle a number of different projects at the same time.
