UK VAT Manager up to 80K+ Bonus
This financial services corporation are a leader in their field. With operations worldwide, the company has established itself and has dominated the field of electronics within financial services. The company is in the right position to maintain its grip as the market leader and is looking to add a Tax Manager to its team to support the company's growth.
You will prepare quarterly VAT returns for the UK VAT group and be the main point of contact for UK VAT compliance aspects, including companies joining and leaving the VAT group. An ability to undertake VAT accounting in regards to sharing a group VAT liability and repayments between VAT group members. You will undertake partial exemption calculations and reviews partial exemption methodology, making improvements where needed. A strong ability to perform VAT capital goods scheme calculations and undertake VAT annual adjustment calculations. Another part of the role you will have to undertake is VAT advice on a daily basis to the business, for example; structuring of new business and products, reviews client and supplier agreements.
To succeed in this role you will be currently an experienced VAT manager or Senior Manager in a multinational / major accounting firm. A good experience in dealing with financial services VAT aspects as well as experience in dealing with branches and VAT. A great communicator with an ability to explain complex VAT issues to non-tax professionals.
A competitive salary of up 80K+ Bonus.
