Tax Consultant

VAT/Tax Consultant role at leading international bank. Based in London. Competitive salary + bonus + benefits

Your new company
This U.S. international banking and financial services company are one of the largest banks in the world, offering a range of financial products to both people and companies alike. The company has continued to grow and develop making them a force in the competitive financial services sector. Due to this continued international growth, the company are now looking to add another Tax Consultant to their team.

Your new role
This role is an engaging role which will allow you to split your time evenly between compliance and advisory work, with a focus on VAT. You will also be heavily engrossed with transaction tax and risk management. The role also requires you to focus on both VAT and transaction tax for both domestic, EU and international cases.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (CA/ACA/or equivalent), with previous VAT experience either in a Big-4 practice, or in a large in-house company. A strong, detailed understanding of financial services VAT issues is required. A stable understanding of EU VAT principles and an understanding of international transaction tax issues.
