Tax Manager Germany – Deutschland, Frankfurt

Our client is a well-known, highly innovative, US multinational with a global footprint. The European Tax team employs many locally-based Country Tax Managers, and this role is looking after tax matters in Germany.

The Tax Manager Germany will take responsibility for managing the day-to-day German tax compliance & reporting activities, tax audits, transfer pricing and transactional review. The role supports the EMEA Tax Manager in tax planning and structuring, new territory expansion and M&A.

The role will progress quickly and within 1 - 2 years it will become responsible for the whole EMEA region for one of the business units.

In the return for a chance to work in an organization where tax has a very high internal profile across the business, it is expected that the successful applicant will be a qualified German Tax Advisor and have at least 5 years’ experience in German corporate income tax. Fluency in German and English is essential.

It is important that you are a team player, have a ‘can-do’ attitude & can take ownership of your areas of responsibility. You must be able to run & complete projects and have a keen eye for detail.
