The firm has a strong international network and a highly successful corporate tax team.

The corporate tax team has no problem attracting work and is one of the most profitable sections in the firm.

This is a tax focused firm with a significant number of partners that are a tax focused partners.

The type of clients, work and salary packages are comparable to the bigger practices. Clients include SME’s and listed companies. There is a large international slant to the client base.

Some examples of the work include: M&A work, corporate reorganisations including demergers and reconstructions, TP, property taxation ( including property development by overseas companies) and range of issues involving UK and international companies.

What will the role involve?

You will be working alongside a head of corporate tax with a view to developing further work from internal and external clients. This is not a pure BD role but a mixture of BD, client development and the technical. This would be a great role for someone who enjoys dealing with a range of different responsibilities.

The head of tax is a highly approachable individual who has a clear vision for his team and what he wants to achieve. He has an entrepreneurial attitude and likes to give people the freedom to develop. He is happy to have a coffee with anyone who feels they would like to explore what his firm can offer.
